About Us


Our mission is to graduate every student attending an LA Promise Fund Neighborhood school college and career ready. Through a robust school turnaround model, LA Promise Fund partners with a cadre of schools committed to ensuring that students growing up in poverty receive an excellent education.


The LA Promise Charter High School #1 will begin its first year of operation in 2017-2018 by opening its door to a 9th grade class of 110 students. LAPCHS#1 will offer ALL students a robust educational program that includes the following services:

Enrollment (Please download and print the Enrollment Packet (English) or Enrollment Packet (Spanish))


  • Each party interested in enrolling at LAPCHS#1 will be asked to complete an intent to enroll form by Friday, March 9, 2018.

  • A student lottery will be held on Wednesday March, 14, 2018. Interested families will receive an offer of enrollment within 5 days after the deadline. The offer of enrollment will include instructions detailing how to complete and return the enrollment packet via U.S. Postal Mail or in person.

  • LAPCHS #1 anticipates enrolling 110 incoming 9th graders during the 2018-2019 school year. We will fill any available seats for grade 10 during via the lottery process.
